MPI Meeting: This Wednesday 11/17 Featuring Elegant Beginnings!

This Wednesday, the Houston chapter of Meeting Professionals international will be holding a luncheon on business etiquette featuring linen provided by Elegant Beginnings, INC. The event will take place at the Humble civic center.

From their website:

"Let this session guide you through all proper business skills for all electrical devices and e-mail etiquette, responding to RSVPs and even sending invitations. Are you dressed appropriately for all the many events that you are expected to attend? Have you ever used the wrong bread and butter plate, drank your neighbor’s coffee or picked up the wrong napkin? Or even worse, had no idea that you even made these little dining faux pas?"

Speaking at the event will be MPI member Colleen Rickenbacker, author of "Be On Your Best Behavior" , a book about business etiquette.

Come Join MPI this Wednesday November the 17th at 11:00 a.m. While you're there, make sure to feast your eyes on the beautiful linens provided by Elegant Beginnings INC.

Blissful Wishes Ball

We are so excited to be attending the Blissful Wishes Ball tomorrow night at the Magnolia Hotel. It is sponsored by the Wish Upon a Wedding Organization which was officially launched in January 2010.

Wish Upon a Wedding is the world's first nonprofit wish granting organization providing weddings and vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and serious life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. Often, couples facing such situations do not have the energy, time, money or resources needed to plan their wedding. The organization takes care of all the details, offering couples a chance to relax and enjoy a very special day while surrounded by the love of their closest family and friends.
